My first thought of screen printing is just a printing process that we usually saw in the printing shop but I'm wrong. When my lecturer brief of on how screen printing works it's kinda complicated at first because screen printing has to go through lots of processes. It goes with cost screen with photo sensitive emulsion, and then wait till the emulsion is dry, cover it with a black cloth, and then place the screen in exposure machine to expose emulsion, and then the screen area that not covered by the design will have turned hard, we have to carefully rinsed away the area that covered by the design so that we can get the clear image. These are all the steps that we have to remember so that our screen will successful expose.
After the briefing, we had given a topic for the screen print project which is Subang. Subang It's a place where we have to research and explore more to create an image of Subang by using screen printing. It's a fun and exciting project and I'm looking forward to it.
