Alone Together
This project related to loneliness, in which the target audience in this project is retirees who are in the range age of 50-60 in Selangor. This project aim is to find out does the retirees affected by loneliness. From the research, retirees mostly spend their time alone at home and don't have much communication with their child. Therefore, I've developed an event for retiree's children to participate in this event where there is a challenging activity for young people to experience in which it is related to our life where each person will go through this in their life. I've developed a social media post and brochure for Feel It event. The meaning behind Feel It is to let the participant feel and experience in the process of the activity.
Translation & Transmission
This is an interactive project in which to produce an object to have an interaction with the audience. The concept of this project is to encourage people to donate hair to people in need. It's also to shows the importance of hair to people who don't have any experience in donating hair before. Hence, I've developed a salon mirror with an enormous photo frame, and present with a video by using a projector in which the content is about a person's opinion towards hair loss. On the other hand, the projector is placed behind the mirror and reflects it to the mirror behind it. At the same time, the audience who sits in front would able to watch the video.
I Am Amplifier
This placard is about e-cigarettes, the statement is Don't let them take over your soul, which means don't let the smoke take over your soul. This is because, from the advertisement, they try to approach the audience to stop smoking and cigarettes, and change to e-cigarettes. Also, they did state that e-cigarettes are more convenient, safe, healthy than normal cigarettes. From the advertisement message, I disagree with their views. Therefore, I've come up with a statement of don't let them take over your soul. The purpose of this statement is to advise and warn the audience which is right and which is not.
Graphic Design Map
The graphic design map is about four fields of design, which are commercial design, experimental design, responsible design, and discursive design. The concept for this project is a globe design in which it is related to four fields of design where we can found these design everywhere that is around the world. Besides, there are 20 icons are shown on the globe, in which 14 from other designers' projects, another six are based on my projects. From this project, it is to show which design fields and skills that I'm more into simultaneously to develop a better understanding.
Personal Branding In the personal branding project, the logo represents me that I have developed a simple palette in the form of CYX, which represents my name. The reason behind using yellow color in my logo symbolizes my personality as warmth, optimism, and energizes. Also, the purpose of creating a palette is because it describes me as a design student, and my interest in Art, where most of my leisure time is painting, and it is also things I enjoy the most in life.
