Design for inclusivity is a project for co-exist where we are formed in a group with interior design students. In this project, we have to design something for disable people. Hence, we have to look around the ss15 area to find out which area is more suitable and important for disable to move around because disable mainly are sitting on wheelchairs.
These are some of the pictures in ss15 areas where in these areas we have to find out which areas are more convenient for disables. After we discuss with our group members we have come up with three ideas which the first one is to build a public toilet beside the bus stop, the second idea is to build a lift for disables to cross the road, and the third idea is to renovate bus stop.
This is the final sketch after discuss with group members.
From the sketch, we have included a public toilet in-between bus stop and bridge, and there is also a lift under the bridge for disables. However, for the bus stop part, we have included an auto rain cover, ramp, information boards, and a place for disables to stay in while they're waiting.
