EAOT topic is about Lipstick which inspired by Sarah Bernhardt which she referred her favored lipstick tube as 'stylo d'amor' meaning 'love pen' from the word 'love pen' I decided to use Love as a theme for my EAOT project.
Besides, the reason why lipstick represents Love is that lipstick is an object that girls can’t live without with and they will bring along with them how they show their love towards lipstick. Furthermore, lipstick is also an object that most of the guy will spend for their girlfriend as a gift, this is the way they express their love to the love ones.
For my final outcome I decided to melt the lipstick and form something that related to love.
In this picture, it represents a color tone that express feelings. I have used melted lipstick and paint on the paper which this shows Love is subjective, it could be represented in a different color tone that expresses different meaning.
Light color tone represents a couple of people who has shallow interests between each other. However, medium tone is when people started to accumulate Interests and both sides getting involved in a relationship. Dark color represents a relationship in an apex.
I pour the melted lipstick on a paper where the paper that shows a map. This picture means that long-distance relationships will face a lot of challenges but if the heart is connected distance doesn’t matter.
Red wine is symbolized love it could also represent a romantic bottle when it comes to romantic events such as valentine’s day.
I’ve melted the lipstick and pour in the wine glass which represents red wine, the rose that surrounds wine glass is to bring up romantic feels.
Red lipstick is not only in a tube but also could be in a paper. Where back in ancient China the Han dynasty they apply lipstick by using a piece of paper. Hence, I decided to make a lipstick paper. The ingredients of lipstick paper are red rose, lemon, and white wine.
This is the outcome of the lipstick paper. From the paper, there is a little bit of dry flower smell, and before using the lipstick paper, we should apply a little water on the lips so that the color will easily apply on the lip.
