Bauhaus

The Bauhaus is a German art school that combined fine art, art and crafts, applied arts such as architecture, graphic design, and product design. The curriculum in Bauhaus school taught about the study of materials, color theory, and formal relationship in preparation for more specialized studies. There are 5 Bauhaus Philosophy which is Form Follow Function, Honest True Materials, Unity of Art and technology, Less is More, and Fundamentalist.

In class, I have learned about Bauhaus and got a topic which is MUJI where we have to search about MUJI Bauhaus. From my research, what I found about MUJI Bauhaus was MUJI is a Japanese product which sells a wide variety of household and consumer goods.

The thing I found interesting was the Muji logo means no pattern, it is known for its distinctive design and described Muji's design style as minimalist and as Bauhaus style.

From the products, there is no logo label on it, and the products are very simple, clean, and the same goes to their packaging. From here, the Bauhaus philosophy less is more suitable for their products.

From the packaging, it looks like a recycling paper not only that the price tag, paper bag are also use the same material.
